Abia State government has released 18 prominent names, including a woman as its delegates to the national conference coming up soon.
The names are Prof. Joe Irukwu, Prof. Anya O. Anya, the Vice Chancellor of Abia State University, Prof. Chibuzo Ogbagu; Senator Uche Chukwumerije, Chief Onyema Ugochukwu, Gen. Ike Nwachukwu and Pro. Herbert Orji.
Others are former deputy to Military President, Ibrahim Babangida, Air Commodore Ebitu Ukiwe, former Health Minister, Dr. Ihechukwu Madubuike and former Finance Minister, Dr. Kalu Idika Kalu.
Also in the list are Prof. Mkpa Agu Mkpa, the Secretary to the State Government, Hon. M.A.U. Ohuabunwa and Prof. Uche Ikonne, the deputy Vice Chancellor [Academics] of the state university.
The rest are Chief Emma Adiele, Dr. Eme Okoro, Elder Emma Adaelu, Chief Chukwu Wachukwu and Lady Bridget Nwankwo, a former commissioner in old Imo state.
