Indications emerged on Thursday that the main oppposition party, All Progressives Congress may not participate in the coming National Conference.
The top hierarchy of the party had initially kicked against the conference which they described as illegal before reasoning set in and it agreed to join he conference.
Contrary to the agreement made by the party which has as its members strong political heavyweights who decamped to the party from the PDP, it failed to send the names of its representatives to the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, whose office was to accredit the participants.
On the list of participants released by the office of the SGF the space of representatives from the APC was conspicously empty raising the worry that the party may not eventually send any representative.
The Chairman and top officials of the conference have arrived Abuja, the venue of the National Conference signalling the closeness and the preparation towards it.
