The All Nigeria Confederation of Principals of Secondary Schools, ANCOPSS, in Ogun State has warned that the free education policy of the Ibikunle Amosun‑led administration may not be realised if the state government fails to address some serious issues concerning their welfare.
Rising from its 33rd Annual Congress at The Bells University of Technology, Ota, in Ado – Odo /Ota Local Government Area of the state, weekend, the principals demanded that the state government should consider for immediate payment of outstanding of the Examination Administration Grants to secondary schools to forestal further mass failure of students not only in terminal but also in the internal examinations.
ANCOPSS claimed that many of its members had been assaulted by suppliers over their inability to pay up debts incurred in running costs of the secondary schools in the state.
