BREAKING: House of Reps in Rowdy Session - APC loses 2 members, gained another 2

Following resumption of plenary today, two members from the All Progressives Congress (APC) from Adamawa State defected to the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

The two APC lawmakers are Rep Titsi Ganama and Rep Haske Hananiya.

Also, a member of the PDP from Benue State, Rep Emmanuel Jime, defected to the APC.

A member of the Democratic Peoples Party (DPP), Yahaya Kwande, from Plateau State also defected to the APC.

With this development, PDP has an increase of two lawmakers and lost one, while the APC lost two and gained two at the same time.

The House of Representatives chamber was thrown into confusion today as minority leader Femi Gbajabiamila referred to the deputy leader of the House, Rep Leo Ogor, as 'deputy minority leader.'

The lower chamber is still rowdy as members of PDP have risen to kick against that and rushed to Gbajabiamila's seat, while APC lawmakers have also risen to his defence.
