Imo State governor, Owelle Rochas Okorocha has called on the deputy speaker, House of Representatives, Honourable Emeka Ihedioha to defect to the All Progressives Congress before it is too late.

Okorocha who made the call during an inauguration of the South-east executive council of the party in Owerri said, defection by Ihedioha has become imperative because he claimed that more members of the House would be joining the APC next week, likewise the senate.

The chairman of the APC Governor’s Forum disclosed that “the party presently is enjoying the full support of ex-presidents and other great leaders in the country today.

“Ihedioha must move before it’s too late, he is my brother and we need people like him to be president. Unfortunately, he is in the wrong party, this is the time for him to move because by next week, APC would take absolute control of the National Assembly,” Okorocha said.

In the same vein, Governor Okorocha has also revealed that his party would be having serious talks with former vice president, Alex Ekwueme and the former governor of old Anambra, Chief Jim Nwobodo to see reasons of identifying with the APC.
