Uncapped trio, Ezekiel, Azeez, Uchebo make list for Mexico tie

Imoh Ezekiel set to be called up by Nigeria

Nigeria coach Stephen Keshi is reportedly prepared to give fresh opportunities to three uncapped players for the Super Eagles’ friendly with Mexico next month.
The shortlisted invitees are Standard Liege striker Imoh Ezekiel, Almeria midfielder Ramon Azeez and Michael Uchebo, a striker for Cercle Brugge who could have the chance to impress ahead of the World Cup.

Ezekiel, who was a former 36 Lions football club forward has netted eight times in Belgium this season. He turned down playing for the youth team at the 2013 FIFA U20 World Cup in Turkey.
As well as Azeez, a midfielder for Almeria, has enjoyed 18 appearances in La Liga during the current campaign, while Uchebo has scored on five occasions for Cercle Brugge.

Ademola Olajire, the Nigeria Football Federation's assistant director of media, declined to confirm the invitation of the players but did not deny it.
"The NFF technical committee will make a decision about invited players on Wedesday," Olajire told Goal. The NFF is expected to make the official list public afterwards.
Keshi travelled to the United States to be with his family last weekend. He will use the game against Mexico to prepare his team for the World Cup.
The match will be played on March 5 in Houston, Texas.
