CONSIDER YOUR WAYS
Hag.1:2-5 ------Thus speaketh the LORD of hosts, saying, this people say, the time is not come, the time that the LORD'S house should be built.
3: Then came the word of the LORD by Haggai the prophet, saying,
4: Is it time for you, O ye, to dwell in your cieled houses, and this house lie waste?
5: Now therefore thus saith the LORD of hosts; Consider your ways.
Insensitivity to the state of the Lord’s house or simply put “Kingdom projects” is viewed as a great offence in the sight of the Lord.
Many have not really sat down to appraise their level of commitment to Kingdom projects and the Lord of host is really bothered about it to the extent that He is calling all to consider their ways.
The Lord of host is lamenting the neglect of his house or outright refusal to participate in Kingdom project while many dwell in ceiled and panelled houses.
He said have you not noticed that:
You have sown much but harvested little
You want to eat but don’t have enough
You want to drink but lacked quantity that will fill you.
You bought clothes but do not fit you.
You earn wages and put it in bags with holes
You looked for much and it came too little because I did blow upon it.
He said the reason for all these frustrations is because of my house that is left waste.
Before you continue to blame the devil, the economy, your employers or your neighbours for your setbacks or predicament, the Lord will want you to think over this.
There is no better time to appraise and consider our ways than NOW that the year is ending.
Friends, opportunity to come out of closed heaven, desert life and drought is hereby made available if we heed His call. No one can survive under God’s anger. Start now to have interest in God’s House.
I see His Exceeding grace being made available to pave way for all into a new level of glory in Jesus name.
