There was a mild drama at the premises of the Federal High Court in Lagos yesterday as operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) arrested the chief executive officer (CEO) of Cross Country Transport Company, Bube Okorodudu shortly after given evidence in a criminal matter.
The arrest which was effected by 10 armed operatives of the commission drew attention of people within the Federal High Court premises in Ikoyi.
As at the time of filing this report, it was not clear whether Okorodudu had been released by the EFCC on bail.
EFCC’s spokesperson, Wilson Uwujaren, did not pick the numerous calls placed to his line for his comment on the development when contacted by our correspondent.
Uwujaren also failed to reply a text message sent to him in that regard.
Okorodudu and the CEO  of A.G Moeller Ltd, Kemi Adeloye, has been engaged in a serious legal battle over a lease agreement between them.
